Here are the details in full re Natalie’s micro-residency and how you get involved:
2-3pm Poetry of Community workshop: In this writing workshop, we will think about the people and places that make us who we are. Drawing inspiration from poets such as Romalyn Ante and Dean Atta, we will harness the power of our common experiences to create thoughtful and startling poems. This workshop welcomes writers of all experience levels. Please contact Stoke Library to reserve your place, as spaces are limited to 15 people.
3pm-5.30pm Writer Drop-in and Feedback on Your Writing: Members of the public are welcome to drop by to ask questions about writing and/or try a writing exercise. You can also bring along some existing work for feedback, but if you wish to do so please contact Stoke Library to reserve your place. Feedback slots are limited to 15 minutes each.
6-7pm In Conversation With … Lisa Blower: Natalie and Lisa will discuss the writing and publishing process, and Natalie will read from her own work.
For anyone wanting to book a place for the workshop or a feedback slot, please contact Stoke Library: stoke.library@stoke.gov.uk / 01782 238446
