100Bookshelf in Stoke Archives

We are delighted to be celebrating all the 100Books’ findings with our specially designed Book Nook in Stoke Archives.

All the 100Books and more from the city’s local authors will now be available to browse via our 100Bookshelf mobile library. We felt it was so important to be able to access and use the physical books in one place as we hope that it will be used by authors past, present and future, inspiring new work and further scholarly research. It is, therefore, apt that the 100Bookshelf should be located in the city’s archives in The Potteries Museum where it can be viewed alongside all the other significant artefacts this city has made, when the making of texts and crafting of stories is integral to preserving this city’s history and its continuing cultural production. The 100Bookshelf and Book Nook will be open to the public from June 2026 and we celebrate its launch with a series of free creative events.
